Great organization to donate too. They are fiscally responsible and provide a great service to city residents. They are a great organization to donate new household goods, daycare supplies and health and beauty items to.

This is a very good shelter highly recommended for homeless families theg really helped a lot .Workers are nice and very supportive.

Some workers are nice. Yes. Like Reseda. Sonia. Kadea...The others..they struggle hard not to be snobbish but they do a bad job of that. Especially to people from Africa..They treat the Africans with disrespect and disdain.They have 3 mandatory checks... every day...they open your fridge to inspect it... your drawers....closets.... toilet....Windows... your pot of food... everything!!! 3* a day every day!!!!If you smoke or you are recovering from some addiction or depression...please and please DO NOT GO THERE!!!!The workers are so many and so idle...their favorite pastime is gossiping...gossiping the sheltered".The worst person there is the lady that works weekends and holidays.. JANET....she has no business being in the humanitarian services...she's an outright rascist and she is proud of it!!John is rude. Julius goes there to sleep..1430 Gerrard Street East."

This shelter is not suitable for family with kids it is very dirty(the bathroom very dirty stains),staff are very rude.It is a health risk for minors,i donot even know why social services allow this shelter to operate.

We were at the Other shelter. They are the best. They gave my family the best treatment. The staff are superb, caring, accommodating and friendly. God bless Red Door Family Shelter

They held my hand when I was down, yes there are some workers there who go beyond but I can't forget there are some there who treat people with respect it depends what they hold in their hearts. I can't thank Carol the Executive Director enough, she has a heart of Gold, she's doing what she loves, she's in the right position. Blessings come to those who do good for others, the best shelter ever. May God richly regard you Carol L.

Is it only families who may stay here, or can single men who are facing forced eviction stay here also?
